PSA: Slackware Admins Threaten Si Owner

This is a snippet of the reaction to Slackhappy's mission announcement amongst operators and administrators of various freenode-based slackware projects:

15:23 < Tadgy> I want to stab this guy in the face. Really. Give me a knife and I promise no one will be able to identify the body.
15:23 -!- rg3 [~rg3@cm-85-152-206-242.telecable.es] has joined ##slackware
15:24 < mancha> why do i care?
15:24 < raela> hrm he must be afraid of me or something.. harassment free here :P
15:24 < adaptr> what were you doing in #httpd ? let's talk about that for a moment.
15:25 < Alan_Hicks> Tadgy: How about a gun?
15:25 < Tadgy> Alan_Hicks: No.. too quick. I want to HURT him.
15:25 < rob0> I was going to put up a Web page as monument to righteous stupidity, but BP{k} stopped me in time, informing me that it was Mr. Punches.
15:25 < Alan_Hicks> Tadgy: gut shoot him with some Winchester Ranger T series rounds then.
15:25 < adaptr> he's on his way to becoming a phenomenomenom..nom...nom

While this is absolutely validation of our need to positively contribute to change in the channel in the hopes of having this element removed from the Slackware Linux distribution's support channels, it's become questionable whether or not some of these administrators are actually very dangerous, violent, conspiring, and unstable people when their holding is challenged.

At this point, I would encourage everyone on the team to consider the potential consequences of challenging their authority in these communities, and anyone who is intimidated by their response will not be seen in a bad light for resigning from the mission.

In lieu of this, the response from operators in ##slackware has already involved libelous statements about some of our staff, challenging our state of mind, and skewing the nature of our goals as an attempt to marginalize our efforts.

It's unclear to what depths they will go to in order to prevent our mission from succeeding, so if you are faint of heart, now is the time to turn back before they begin compiling 'lists' of people to possibly injure in one form or another. The owner of Slackhappy International's life has already been threatened.

Update

A poll was taken in #slackhappy with all of our staff present; It appears that no one will be resigning out of fear, and our operations haven't even 'hiccuped'. In fact, we're still growing by the day. Hooah!
